New Hope Christian Church, Nokomis

Hello and welcome to Main Street Children and Youth Ministry of New Hope Christian Church. It is our hope that together we can grow closer to the Lord through praise to His Name and the study of His Word.

Main Street helps children follow God with all their heart, mind, body and soul through interactive learning, upbeat music, age appropriate Bible stories, puppet drama and lots of great fun. Your child will be encouraged to learn what the Lord has done for all of us in a manner that is imprinted on their minds for years to come.

We offer growth in Christ with opportunities through our nursery for children ages infant - 2yrs, Main Street Park for children ages 3 - Kindergarten, Main Street for children in grades 1 - 5, Known for youth in grades 6 - 8 and S.T.E.P. (Students That Encourage People) for youth in grades 9 - 12.

Summer Activities Schedule
June 15th Fountain Fun at Venice Fountains - 12:00 noon - Pack a lunch and bring a friend for some fun in the sun. Oh, and don't forget mom and dad too. June 18th - 19th Youth Lock In - 6:00pm - 10:00am - You will need money for dinner and a movie. Breakfast will be provided. Bring your air mattress this time. This event is for our Middle School and High School students. July 4th Cookout at New Hope following morning worship. July 9th Bowling at AMF Venice Lanes - 6:00 pm - $4.50 per game - NO shoe rental needed - All children must be accompanied by an adult. July 22nd YMCA Water Park Day - 10:00am - 2:00pm - $7.50 per person - Bring a lunch or money to buy from the concession stand. All children must be accompanied by an adult. August 7th Roller Derby at Stardust Skate Center - times to be announced - $12.00 at door or $10.00 in advance. See Rob or April if interested. All money will be due by Sunday, July 25th. This event is for our Middle School and High School students. August 19th YMCA Water Park Day - 10:00am - 2:00pm - $7.50 per person - Bring a lunch or money to buy from the concession stand. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
