We are consistently working to
provide meaningful Christian Education for children and young
people. Each teacher and assistant has been through an application
and interview process that includes a background check. The information below builds from
pre-school and finishes
with our high school age programs.
Elevate
-- preschoolers age 3 - 5 -- is education and worship for
younger children located in the classroom immediately to your left
as you enter the building from the portico.
KidMo
-- 1st - 5th graders --
honors God through an interactive, visually stimulating, kid -
friendly worship experience. It is located at the right end
of the hallway behind the kitchen.
Known --
Middle School -- meets in the classroom to the right as you
enter the building from the portico.
Students
That Encourage People (S.T.E.P.)
-- High School -- meets in the
foyer.
Here is how
attendance on a Sunday can work for you and your children:
All youth areas open at 9:45. All first time visitors should fill out an information sheet and
in a timely manner please come and pick up your children after the service concludes.
Children will not be released to anyone except those designated on
the information sheet. Because of our limited space we do not
currently use the strategy of a separate children's Sunday School
program and therefore this hour long program is our vital link in
Christian Education.
The Children and Youth Ministry of New Hope
Christian Church helps children follow God with all their heart, mind,
body and soul through interactive learning, upbeat music, age
appropriate Bible stories, puppet drama and lots of great fun. Your child
will be encouraged to learn what the Lord has done for
all of us in a manner that is imprinted on their minds for years
to come. It is our hope that together we can grow closer to
the Lord through praise to His Name and the study of His Word.
We offer growth in Christ
with opportunities through our nursery for children ages
infant - 2yrs, Elevate for children ages 3
- Kindergarten, KidMo for children in grades 1
- 5, Known for youth in grades 6 - 8 and
S.T.E.P. (Students That Encourage People) for youth in
grades 9 - 12.
